Basketball Star

Here Sandy is about 16 years old. In 1960-61 girl’s basketball had its own rules. They were not allowed to play full court. Apparently that would be hard for girls. But, thank God, in 1962 two “rovers” allowed (players permitted to run the entire court). In 1966 continuous dribble allowed (prior to that, only 2 or 3 dribbles allowed).
